Thoracic Surgeons, at the Clinical Hospital of Tetovo, for the first time last week, performed an intervention using a new method, by which the patient was prevented from excessive sweating.
The new way of intervention represents a different surgical procedure from the previous practices, applied in a part of the nervous system in order to prevent excessive sweating.
Specialist Thoracic Surgeons from Clinical Hospital Tetovo performed the first intervention on hyperhidrosis, which means enormous sweating. The operation was performed using the clipping method and minimally invasive sympathectomy. The patient with hyperhidrosis had no symptom of excessive sweating after the intervention and returned to normal life as it is informed from Clinical Hospital Tetovo. For this intervention the doctors had expert advice and education from doctors from Spain.
