Department of biochemical-laboratory medicine

The Diagnostic Biochemical Laboratory has the most up-to-date and high-quality equipment for the preparation of hematological, biochemical and immunological analyzes of patient samples, as well as highly equipped professional staff of health workers and collaborators. The laboratory is accredited according to the ISO 15189:2013 standard and operates based on the principles of good laboratory practice and accreditation standards. In addition, the laboratory is subject to monthly external quality control by participating in highly reputable European programs for checking accuracy.

The laboratory has a capacity of 350 m2 in which 5 counters for administrative reception and 3 counters for taking samples function. As part of the laboratory, there are 4 hematological, 2 biochemical and 4 immunological devices that enable daily service to a large number of patients and delivery of the results in the shortest possible time.
