Activities for the Department of Neonatology during 2022

1. Introduced screening for cystic fibrosis, phenylketonuria, the 30 metabolic diseases.
2. Introductory newborn hearing screening.
3. Provided Bilichek (transcutaneous bilirubin measuring device) in newborns.
4. Equipment for preparing and storing milk is provided.
5. 4 chairs provided for neonatal box and ambulance.
6. Realized education for cardio-pediatrics, one doctor (Dr. Radica Apostolovska).
7. An apparatus for veins for newborns was put into operation.
8. A new transport incubator for a newborn has been activated.
9. Activated 7 warmers for newborns with 2 options for aspiration and oxygenation.
10. Provided 295 diapers for newborns (flannel, regular).
